Health & Safety Protocols

We are pleased to welcome students back to in-person camps here at the studio. Our staff have been working diligently to implement health procedures and guidelines based on the Health Guidelines in our County.

We are closely monitoring policy changes and public health organizations and will continue to make changes, as necessary. The plan below, coupled with personal responsibility, presents our best efforts to keep our dancers, families, and staff safe.

Flu-Like Symptoms

Any student, faculty, staff or parent that has flu-like symptoms, any symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 10 days, or have had any close contact with someone who is suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days or have traveled outside of CA on public transportation in the past 14 days we ask that you please not attend class or enter the studio.

Face Coverings

All faculty, staff and dancers are required to wear a face covering or mask when entering and exiting the studio. When actively dancing, students and teachers may choose to remove their masks or leave them on, masks are optional in class.

Temperature Checks

Faculty and staff will receive temperature checks every day. Our dancers will receive temperature checks when they arrive to XFDC.

Limiting Dancer Capacity

Per County Guidelines, our camp size is  limited. We are able to hold multiple camps as long as the groups do not mix.

Waiting Rooms

XFDC Waiting area and common areas are closed.

Dancer Belongings

Please arrive dressed and ready for class, each dancer will have a designated basket for their belongings. Dance shoes can be changed into from our waiting room. Dancers need to bring clean shoes into camp.

Restrooms

To minimize usage, encourage dancers to use the restroom prior to class at home. We will have one designated restroom per studio, sanitized regularly.

Online Registration & Reserving Spots

Please register for your camps online, size limits will be based on guidelines above. XFDC accepts credit cards and contactless forms of payment via our online registration portal.

Zoom Online Classes

We are committed to offering dance education and fitness to our students in a variety of ways to meet the health, safety and individual needs of the time. We will continue to offer online dance classes in addition to the more limited in-person camps to accommodate demand for remote instruction.

Studio Cleanliness & Sanitization

Following the CDC Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting, each studio will be cleaned, and dance equipment.  We are currently limiting use of dance equipment.  But if used, we will be disinfected between each use. Staff will frequently clean and disinfect all frequently touched surfaces (e.g., door handles) common areas (e.g., restroom rooms, waiting rooms), and equipment  while the facility is open and in operation. H13 HEPA Air purifiers are located  the studio.  We will also use our roll up doors to keep fresh air in the facility.

Hand Cleaning & Washing

Hand sanitizer stations are at each entrance and inside each studio, you will be required to cleanse your hands upon arrival. All faculty, staff and dancers should wash their hands regularly. The CDC recommends this as one of the best practices to avoid transmission of the virus.

As always, please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you have. We can’t wait to see you all again!
